A Scout is a place you haven’t photographed yet, and only you can see it. If you shoot it, you can graduate it into a Stop, which starts as a private draft until you choose to publish it. If you’re not sure where to start with Panoramble, this is it. A Scout means you can pin a location you’ve never been to and track the light and other factors to help you plan the perfect shoot. For the locations you find by accident, take one photo where you stand and that’s your Scout, made there and then.

Log the intention
For the places you know you want to visit, add a label, a rough guess-pin, whatever information you may have. There’s no need to add a photo or post just yet.

Or snap the spot while you’re there
Found somewhere to shoot on the go? Take one photo and that’s your Scout, made there and then, with the pin and the direction you faced. On the Field plan it works with no signal at all: the Scout waits on your phone and uploads itself when you’re back in range.

Sundial tells you when to shoot
The Sundial will help you plan the best time to shoot, providing lighting times and forecasts for the day.

Shoot it to graduate it
One tap turns the Scout into a Stop. Any direction you measured there comes with it, and your planning notes stay private. It starts as a draft: nobody else sees it until you publish.
