Sharp is a judgement, not a measurement: these limits assume the usual circle of confusion for the sensor’s size, which is set for a normal print at a normal distance. Focusing at the hyperfocal puts infinity exactly at the edge of that, so if you print big, focus past it and give the distance the margin.
